Employment History
- July 2004 Executive Officer, Plantations North East
- Responsible for identifying the land base to achieve national and state government goals for new plantations, and for attracting investment into these new plantations across the North East Region. Working with
local government, state and federal agencies, local landcare groups and individual landowners to achieve these objectives.
- 1999-2004 Regional Manager, North East, now Regional Development Victoria, Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development.
Responsible for delivery of the State government’s regional economic and community development programs in the North East.
- Grants budget of $2.8m committed in 2002, and over 100 projects.
- Responsible for all aspects of representing state government to local government, business, and other stakeholders in the areas of economic and community development.
- Responsible directly for seven staff and the coordination of the activities of six other staff based in the region.
